You can also record from an input bus to audio tracks." I am not well versed in these terms, obviously, and so i'm a little intimidated to tackle that without a breakdown.
"You can route your hardware inputs directly to an input bus and the input bus to your master bus, allowing you to always heard the input sources. it is quite possible this is a hardware issue the more i read the creative how to's.
is there a setting to enable track monitoring? if so i have not found it. i would like to hear the track that is armed for recording at the same time i'm recording it. i can visually monitor the input, but i cannot hear anything other than the tracks previously recorded and unarmed. once a track is armed to record the input source (my 1/4" line in jack in the front) becomes inaudible. You can also record from an input bus to audio tracks. You can route your hardware inputs directly to an input bus and the input bus to your master bus, allowing you to always heard the input sources. When you unarm the track, the input source is no longer input into ACID.ĪCID Pro 7 also has input busses. When you arm the track this permits the input signal to be heard if you enable track monitoring. You are saying that you cannot record to an armed track? I don't see how that is possible, as by default all armed tracks are recorded. If a track is not armed, then it recieves no input. I can hear the armed tracks just fine, but volume on the input signal disappears on the unarmed track, unless i arm it at which point i can't record on it. You can hear both the recorded tracks and the input to other tracks that are armed.
Once a track is recorded, then you can play it back during the recording of another track. You cannot input monitor through ACID with a track unless the track is armed. You cannot record to a track unless it is armed.
I just can't figure out how to enable the input monitoring for the unarmed track as i am recording it. All input monitoring had to to be done through hardware. I really don't understand what you are trying to do.ĪCID 4 did not permit recording of more than one track at a time, and provided no input monitoring mode.
